Deception Island, Antarctica
This image has a funny story behind it. Behind me there was a large group of people waiting to do "The Polar Plunge". I was standing at the water's edge and we had two zodiacs out in the water to keep aggressive fur seals at bay. Suddenly and out of the blue, these three Gentoo Penguins appeared right at my feet, looking a little confused as to what was going on. I quickly snapped off a couple of images before they turned around and headed back out into the water. Hilarious!
