Marbled Godwits (Limosa fedoa)

Moss Landing, California

I loved watching these marbled godwits both attempting to eat this piece of lettuce grass in the beautiful evening light at Moss Landing Harbor. They both now grace the 2015 Elkhorn Slough Foundation Calendar and are featured for the month of November.
