November 2015

Accepted as "Photographer in Residence" with G Adventures beginning May, 2016, providing on board lectures, instruction and assistance in photographic techniques to tour guests. Will initially visit both the Arctic and Antarctic regions, each for a month long period.

Killdeer Chick selected for the cover of the 2013 Elkhorn Slough Foundation Calendar.

Awarded top honors at the North American Nature Photography Association's (NANPA) 2013 Showcase with three images selected out of thousands of entries. Northern Elephant Seal earns a Top 100 placement, in addition to being one of only six selected to recieve a Judge's Choice Award to be presented at the 2013 NANPA Nature Photography Summit in Jacksonville, FL.

Two addtional images honored with a Top 250 placement. "Two's Company" (Red Lechwe Antelope) and "Among Giants" (Baby Elephant). All three images will also be featured in the 2013 NANPA print journal "Expressions" and featured a musical presentation at Jacksonville Symphony Hall during the NANPA Summit in February, 2013.

"Handcrafted and Through the Lens: Nature Interpreted" exhibit opens at Filoli Gardens and runs through October 21st, 2012. Two 18" x 24" framed images are on display: "Dashing Duo" and "The Light Within", both available for purchase along with a selection of matted prints and boxed notecards.

June 2012

"The Light Within" awarded First Place "Bird Photography" and Best of Show "Color Photography" in the Fine Arts Galleria at the 2012 San Mateo County Fair.

Article "Finding Inspiration Close To Home" published in Abe's of Maine's blog.

Two images "Dashing Duo" and "The Light Within"accepted out of 252 entries to be on display at the "Handcrafted and Through the Lens: Nature Interpreted" exhibit at Filoli Gardens from July 10th through October 21st. During this time, there will be four "meet the artist" days where I will also exhibit and make available for purchase additional pieces.

"Jewels of the Kalahari" awarded a top ten selection in the "Women in Focus International Women's Exhibit 2012", displayed at the Central Library Gallery, Atlanta, Georgia.
